The reticle is located in the first focal plane (objective image plane). This means that when changing magnification, the reticle is enlarged along with the image, and the subtension remains constant regardless of the magnification. As a result, you can choose any magnification from 3x to 12x while shooting. The distance between the reticle ring and the target cannot be adjusted.
